It may feel like Summer 2026 just ended (because it did!), but here at Camp Alleghany, we’re already looking ahead with excitement to next year.
Registration for Mother-Daughter Weekend, Mini Camp, Term Camp, and our Leaders-in-Training (LIT) Program opens on October 1!
One exciting change for 2027 is that Mother-Daughter Weekend registration will now open on October 1 as well. In previous years, MDW registration opened later in the winter, but we’re thrilled to bring it in line with the rest of our summer programs.
(Family Camp registration will continue to open in February.)
Early Bird Registration
Families who register between October 1 and November 15 will receive our Early Bird tuition rate. Registering early also gives you the best chance of securing your preferred session before it fills. Several sessions, including Second Term, reached a waitlist this past summer.
In addition, families who pay their tuition in full by December 1 will receive an additional 5% Pay-in-Full Discount, regardless of when they registered.
Still Deciding? We'd Love to Help.
If you’re considering Camp Alleghany for the first time, I encourage you to spend the next few weeks getting to know us.
Browse our website. Watch our videos. Follow along on social media. Read through our blog.
But most of all, I hope you’ll listen to our ‘Ghany Gatherings Podcast.
This year we’ve created dozens of episodes featuring campers, parents, counselors, Head Counselors, LITs, physicians, nurses, administrators, and camp directors, all sharing what makes Alleghany such a special place. Whether you’re wondering about homesickness, packing, safety, our philosophy, or simply what a day at camp looks like, there’s likely an episode for you.
We’ll also be hosting virtual Q&A sessions this fall where prospective and returning families can ask questions and learn more about our programs.
And finally…
Let's Talk.
One of my favorite parts of my job is talking with families who are considering camp.
Whether you’re trying to decide if your daughter is ready, wondering which session is the best fit, have questions about homesickness, or simply want to learn more about our philosophy, I would genuinely love to hear from you. Every family is different, and I always enjoy helping parents think through what’s best for their daughter.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to getting to know you.
We’ll see you on October 1!
