Are you thinking about applying to be a Camp Counselor? Maybe you were at Alleghany with us this summer and can’t wait to be back! Or you heard about us through a friend and want to experience the magic with us next summer. Whatever the reason, you’re in luck! Our Counselor applications for Summer 2024 are open! 

JC Applications

Attention all LITs of 2023, JC Applications are not quite open yet! They open October 1st and are due January 15th. Email cami@campalleghany.com with any questions.

Leadership and Counselor Applications

If you are a new or returning Counselor applicant now is the time for you to apply. Don’t wait to sign on for the summer of 2024! Additional Information and Mandatory Dates

Counselors must be able to work the entire summer. Applicants can contact Program Director Stephanie Astley with specific time-off requests for graduations or college orientations that conflict with our mandatory dates.

2024 Summer Dates for Staff: June 9 – August 3

  • Head Counselors arrive June 6
  • International Staff arrive June 8
  • Domestic Counselors Arrive June 9

Cami Breese

Cami was a Camper at ‘Ghany for 8 years, a Mini Camper before that, and spent most of her childhood years attending Family Camp with her parents and sister. She is a Third Generation ‘Ghany Girl who has served as a Junior Counselor, Unit Head, StartUp Mom, and JC Mom throughout her many years along the Greenbrier. After graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in Creative Advertising and Graphic Design, she joined us on the Admin Team as the Leadership Program Coordinator. In 2022 she stepped into her new role as the Director of Marketing and Leadership which combines the planning of the Leadership Programs and direction of Alleghany’s Marketing and Social Media.
