As October brings cooler air, vibrant fall foliage, and the return of all things pumpkin spice, we’re excited to announce that Early Bird registration for Camp Alleghany’s Summer 2025 is officially open!

Why Register Now? Early Bird Savings!

Now is the best time to register for camp—why? Because our Early Bird rate is available from October 1 through November 15. This special rate offers a significant savings compared to our regular tuition, which kicks in on November 16. Don’t miss out on the chance to secure a lower rate and save on your camper’s summer adventure!

In addition to savings, spots for our term sessions and Leaders-in-Training program are already filling up quickly, thanks to an incredible registration period from our 2024 returning campers. Registering early guarantees your place in our 2025 season and helps you avoid the waitlist!

Elizabeth Shreckhise

Elizabeth is the Director of Camp Alleghany for Girls, the third generation member in her family to hold this position. But she also spent her childhood (ages 7-16) as 'Ghany camper, then held various counselor positions, and spent a decade here as the Assistant Director. She has a Masters in Education and Human Development and is a former School Counselor. Elizabeth lives in Staunton, Virginia during the "off-season" with her husband Matt and sons Mason, Ellis, and Noah. In addition to staffing, enrollment, program planning, outreach, and camp management duties, she helps keep the website current, writes and updates camp literature, and oversees the blog.
