Summer 2024 is quickly approaching, and our available spots are filling up fast! We even have waitlists for some of our sessions and age groups. So, if you are thinking about registering your daughter for a summer at Alleghany, now is the time! We know that new families and campers may be hesitant to dive right in, which is why we make an effort every year to give you as much information ahead of time to help you make your decision. One of the ways we do that is to host Virtual Open Houses!
Meet Us, Virtually
Each year we host a couple of Virtual Open Houses in the the new year. These Zoom-based webinars give you the chance to learn about Alleghany, meet some of our staff, and ask questions in a live format. They are always fun and engaging, and we enjoy interacting with current and future campers and families!
You’ll meet some of the directors, some medical staff, some current counselors, and even a couple of current campers. At the end, we’ll open it up for anyone on the webinar to meet each other and ask questions to any of the staff or campers.
Who?
These are open to all! Whether you’re not yet registered and just exploring options, or you’re registered and haven’t attended Alleghany yet, or even if you’ve already been a camper but would like some more information or to share your own experiences – we welcome everyone. These are also for both parents and campers.
When?
This Spring, our Open Houses are scheduled as follows:
- Sunday, February 25th at 4:30 p.m. EDT – Mini Camp-focused Open House for those more interested in our one-week Mini Camp session
- Thursday, February 29th at 7 p.m. EDT– Mini Camp-focused Open House for those more interested in our one-week Mini Camp session
- Thursday, March 7th at 7 p.m. EDT- a General Open House for those interested in Mini Camp or Term Camp
- Sunday, March 24th at 4:30 p.m. EDT – a General Open House for those interested in Mini Camp or Term Camp
