It almost goes without saying that once a girl comes to Camp Alleghany she’s likely to have such an infectious affection for camp that she’s going to tell many a friend.
It happens all the time.
And we hear about this enthusiasm in nice post-camp notes and e-mails sent to us, or in off-season gatherings and reunions. It usually goes something like this:
My daughter won’t stop talking about camp, camp, camp. She loved it! She had such a great time, she’s telling all her friends and now they want to come. I tell the girls’ moms the same thing, how great camp has been for our daughter. I bet you’ll hear from some of them because now they want to come!
Well, we got to thinking that all that generous word-of-mouth ought to be rewarded with some generosity in return. That’s why we’re launching our Refer-a-Friend campaign.
The details
If you refer a friend and then that friend actually signs up for term camp, you get a $200 credit against your own daughter’s registration! Woo hoo!
This offer applies to registered campers for the current season only, and guess what — it applies to Mini Camp, too! But there’s no limit — refer five families, all five sign up, that’s $1000 off of camp for your daughter!
Some folks have wondered what happens if two families refer the same new camper family and to that we just say, “Don’t worry, this has actually never happened before.” But in the long-shot scenario in which it might, we’d just have to say that which ever family made the referral first would get that credit.
Okay, that’s about it for this straightforward incentive to bring your friends in to the Camp Alleghany fold.
We can’t wait to see them, and we can’t wait to see you!
