Our tie-dye colored mini week, the 17th of its seasons,
was such a blast for all the girls for many, many reasons!
Traditions that we loved to learn included hunting the Inspector,
making pixies, singing songs and BA: BARNYARD detector!
Evening activities were fun times for closing out each day.
But we truly loved the many ways we enjoyed free time to “play.”
We each adored “big sister” time, a highlight to be sure!
We loved daily activities; we each attended four!
On Monday all the colors by a granny they were stolen,
But we worked together to get them back- our color teams were rollin’.
On Tie-dye Tuesday we dyed our shirts amidst a little drizzle
The colors were so beautiful and so unique- fo’ shizzle!
Wednesday we had cook-outs, we did crafts, and ate s’mores!
We closed the night with fireworks and many tired snores!
The Thursday wacky races, within our color teams,
left all the mini campers still giggling in their dreams!
Sadly Friday came too fast and packing did ensue.
A scrapbook of our memories shows things we loved to do!
That evening’s drama, dance, and singers led the Show of Shows.
Then we lit our candles on our stoops in twinkling little rows.
This Mini Camp group of 72 have made memories full of pleasures:
Of mountains, no tech, simple joys- the values Ghany treasures!
If you should know a little girl for whom this week would fit-
We’d welcome her to Mini Camp- it’d surely be a hit!
